This custom-made wooden Kagami Mochi (rice cake offering) from BEAMS JAPAN is crafted by skilled artisans, showcasing the beautiful grain of domestically sourced solid wood.

 The mochi portion, made from carefully polished solid domestic ginkgo wood, perfectly captures the soft texture of traditional rice cakes. The bitter orange (daidai), symbolizing a long-lasting and prosperous family, is made from domestic zelkova wood.

Rare domestic black persimmon leaves add a touch of elegance. Displayed on a beautiful cypress wood stand, it allows you to preserve Japanese tradition.

Made in Japan. 

Do not wipe with a wet cloth or immerse in water. Because natural wood is used, the wood grain and other details will vary slightly from piece to piece.
