Founded in 2016 by designer Rikuya Hayashi, Tokyo-based label SUGARHILL reinterprets classic Americana, military heritage, and workwear uniforms. The name nods to New York's historic Sugar Hill neighborhood, where Hayashi lived while studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Back in Japan, he founded the label to fuse the subcultural grit of American street style with the precision of Japanese manufacturing.
