Blackbird is a Japanese clothing label founded by Kyoichi Akabane, owner of the respected select shop WHITE ALBUM. in Ōmiya. Known for his deep appreciation of vintage 1950s and 1970s menswear, Akabane brings a curatorial eye and intuitive sense of rhythm to Blackbird’s collections.

Each piece blends understated elegance with high quality, practicality, and function—never flashy, always intentional. Guided by mood and personal sensibility, Akabane distills his ideas through subtle hand-finished details, designing with the belief that the process isn’t complete until the garment is worn.
