About the Artist: KOICHI YAIRI
Born in 1992, Koichi Yairi is a graduate of Musashino Art University who identifies as a 'graphic artist.' He is renowned for his monochrome, old-cartoon style paintings, which feature whimsical and endearing characters, often engaging in experimental expressions that seem to leap off the canvas. Yairi has held solo exhibitions in Japan, London, Korea, and other international locations. Based in Tokyo, he is actively involved in a wide range of projects, including designing record jackets, creating characters, and providing artwork for apparel brands such as GREGORY.
